This Clock Spring is a good replacement for many existing quill springs on drill presses and milling machines. The housed spring helps return the quill to the top after you have completed drilling.

Pay attention when installing springs. Do not loosen the wire of fixed springs! When installing, install the spring with a fixed wire directly into the spring seat, and the wire will slide out.
